TFP’s brand new state of the art floodlit 3G all weather pitch is available for hire in October .
The arena has the latest 3rd generation artificial turf system which have especially high piles or “blades of grass”. The infill is a combination of siliceous sand and rubber granulate made from old car tyres.
Low friction, suspension and ball rebound characteristics equal to natural grass make artificial turf now the optimal surface for football.
The facility can cater for two 6 a side pitches which are divided by a net, a single pitch can be booked by the hour or both at any time. The pitch can also be used as a larger 40m x 30m facility. There are portable goals available for all of the pitch configurations or the recessed goal areas within the steel mesh surrounds can be utilised . The facility is available to hire during the daytime and evenings for after school clubs, sports and football clubs, businesses for social get-togethers, birthday parties or just a few lads or girls wanting to have a kick about.
