This is the furthest Chinnor have progressed in the Vase having overcome Hellenic side Henley Town 6-2 in the last round so it will be a good challenge for Dave Ridgeley’s squad. Thame have previously made it as far as the semi-finals in the 1998/99 season and Mark West’s young team have been producing some good results recently which has seen them reach 6th spot in the Hellenic Premier Division.
They beat New College Swindon 4-0 to progress to the 1st Round Proper.
The main game will be preceded by a Junior match between Thame Boys Under 10’s and Chinnor Youth Under 10’s at 1.30pm. Both sides will also be providing a mascot for the game.
The ASM Stadium boasts one of the best playing surfaces in the area and both sides will be looking to progress in the competition so an exciting afternoon of action is in prospect.
With the unseasonal warm weather, forecast to last until the weekend, why not take advantage of the sunshine and come down to the ASM Stadium to support either team
Turnstiles will be opening at 2.15pm and a good crowd is expected from both camps for this exciting tie.
It’s also “Kids for a Quid” for the game for Under 16’s, with Adults £5.00 and Concessions £3.00. Kick off is at 3.00pm
