Site Update
As we enter August we are, believe it or not just 7 weeks away from practical completion of the main Stadium building, there is however a tremendous of work still required to do especially to the car park and access to the site but work has moved on substantially since last months issue with obvious visible signs. The main pitch has now been seeded and the irrigation system is hopefully being connected to the water supply in August which will enable us to water all of the playing surfaces. Floodlight masts have also been erected. The wood cladding has been completed on the pitch side of the building and work is now underway to create the terracing for the seating for the stadium. Inside the building, the internal walls have neared completion and the main bar and function areas have been started to be plastered.
All the underfloor heating has been installed and over the course of the next 4 weeks the rooms will move on significantly as we near completion.
Outside the main service road has been constructed leading down to the Clubhouse along with the smaller staff and disabled car park area. The Astro Arena has now been enclosed with steel fencing and the carpet should be down shortly, with the floodlight masts again in position this should near completion soon. Overall the grassed areas are doing OK but we really could do with some rainfall now to increase growth.
