Milton Utd 0 Thame Rangers 1
Dan Hatton seals victory on the road with a 25 yard unstoppable strike to make it 6 games unbeaten for Thame Rangers
Dan Hatton's 25 yard strike proved the difference on the night.
Milton survived an early onslaught as Thame Rangers piled on the pressure in a spell that included six consecutive corners.
Hatton's left foot was causing all kinds of problems from each delivery. Hatton got his reward on 30 minutes and smashed an unstoppable strike past the home keeper. A lead that was never extended. Andy Gledhill came close soon after. His goal bound effort was tipped onto the post by the home keeper. With all the first half pressure Thame failed to increase their lead and went into the break only one up.
The second half was a different affair with the home side having good spells of pressure but they failed to break down Thame's resolute defence. Thame should've had the opportunity to seal the game late on when a clear penalty shout was turned down. The game came to and the three points were sealed by Thame Rangers.
