Thame vs Bicester
Thame bag another 3 points
Thame were high on confidence coming into a game where their opponents had lost three out of three. However Bicester were no push overs and started the first half dominating Thame in every part of the pitch. Thame conceded a lazy goal as their attacker outpaced the Thame defence and calmly slotted past Euan Hutchings. Bicester carried on dominating until Tom Porter hassled their defence and won Thame a much needed penalty as their keeper wiped him out. Alex Rickard stepped up and confidently slotted the ball into the bottom left corner. The teams were level at the break. The second half started and both teams were playing some nice football. It was in the 70th minute Thame grabbed their winner as Nathan Lang floated the ball into the box which saw Tom Ashworth control the ball with his right and turned to smash it in with his left. Bicester piled on the pressure and looked certain to score from inside the box until Amir Jafri put his body on the line to block a certain equaliser. The game finished 2-1 and Thame got the 3 points they needed to keep moving up the table.
