*** QUESTION TIME ***
What were your reasons for joining us at Thame United for 2019/20?
CALLUM – It was a big decision for me to join Thame, but I thought the club was well run with great facilities and I could progress well with the squad and bring something new.

What did you do during the off season?
CALLUM – I’m currently on holiday from Uni so not much... going to the gym and playing golf.

What position will you be lining up in for 2019/20? What clubs have you played for previously?
CALLUM - My preferred position is centre back, but I’m always happy to go up top! I started off at Beaconsfield Town and then joined Aylesbury halfway through the 2017/18 season and stayed there until joining Thame this season.

Share with us some of your guilty pleasures?
CALLUM – You can’t beat a Disney classic.

Who is your all-time favourite football player and why?
CALLUM – I would probably have to say Van Dijk because I like the way that he plays the game.

How did you first get involved in football?
CALLUM – I started playing football when I was 11 and had to choose between football and tennis, and I think I made the right decision.

If you could watch any football match in history which would you choose and why?
CALLUM - I’d have to say watching England win a penalty shootout (finally) vs Columbia in last years world cup with my mates.

What are your thoughts about results in pre-season? Which game have you enjoyed the most and why?
CALLUM - I like how we’ve been playing so far and I’m getting to know how my new team mates play. My first game against Oxford United was a great experience with a big attendance, but also the team’s effort and performance against Beaconsfield.

What are your personal goals for the 2019/20 season?
CALLUM – I’d like to maintain my performances every week and keep as many clean sheets as possible. Maybe even score a few goals.

What are you looking forward to most ahead of the season in August?
CALLUM - I’m just looking forward to getting started and playing for 3 points.

What are the targets for the team in 2019/20?
CALLUM – Even in the short amount of time I’ve been with squad it looks strong and we want to push on this season and see what happens.

With attendances increasing, more sponsorship and more media coverage what does this mean to you as a new player to the club?
CALLUM - I think this is great for the club as it will hopefully increase attendances even more as the season goes on and this is great for the boys to look forward to playing on a Saturday.

Any final comments for the fans and followers?
CALLUM - Thank you for making me feel welcome and I look forward to the support throughout the season.
