*** QUESTION TIME ***
For those that don't know who is George Ashworth? What Positions have you played for Thame Rangers?
GEORGE - 'I have played football for Thame since I was 14. I joined the youth team and have been here ever since.
I play mainly on the wing and in the centre of midfield for Thame Rangers.’

As there is Thame Football family royalty in your household. Who are they for those that don't know?
GEORGE - 'My Grandad played for Thame many years ago. He was a winger and won the Hellenic League in 1969/70.
My brother Tom currently plays for Thame United as a central midfielder.

What were your thoughts on Thame Rangers season 2018/19?
GEORGE - ' I think Thame Ranger’s 2018/19 season was very good. We were able to finish 2nd in the league and beat some tough opposition in the cup competitions we were in.

What were your thoughts on your own performance last season?
GEORGE - 'I felt I improved as the season went on and became more confident in my own ability.’

What was your biggest highlight of 2018/19?
GEORGE – ‘A personal highlight would be receiving manager’s player at presentation. It was nice to know that my hard work through the season had been recognised by the managers.’

What Football Boots will you be wearing for 2019/20?
GEORGE - 'Adidas Nemeziz 18.3’

Do you have any personal goals for 2019/20?
GEORGE - 'I would like to get my name on the scoresheet a bit more to help the team.’

Out of all the pre-season fixtures what is the one you are looking forward to playing in?
GEORGE - 'I would have to say the game against Marlow. This is because they play at a higher level and will be a tough challenge.’

If you won a competition to watch any football match in the world which would you choose and why?
GEORGE - 'I would have to say Barcelona v Real Madrid. The El Classico is always an exciting game to watch and I would also be able to see the greatest player of all time… Lionel Messi.’

What is your favourite meal?
GEORGE - 'Sunday Roast followed by sticky toffee pudding.’

Any final comments for the fans and followers?
GEORGE - ' Come down to the ASM stadium to watch Thame and help support us.’
