Dan, why do you think Jake Collinge decided to sponsor you for the season? What do you have to say about our Chairman?
DAN - ‘I think he’s sponsored me because he realizes my dedication to the club over the years I have been here. Jakes been a great servant to the club and people don’t realise how much time and effort he puts in’.
How did you get into playing football? Where there any people who have had a big influence on your career?
DAN - ‘So I got into playing football because of my dad, he’s been the main influence on my whole playing career so far. Also my mum without her driving me here there and everywhere when I was younger I wouldn’t be where I am now’.
What has been your biggest achievement to date as a player?
DAN - ‘My biggest achievement as a player has to be winning the Hellenic league and winning the golden boot last season’.
What football boots are you wearing this season and why? What were your favourite boots as a youngster?
DAN - ‘I wear Adidas predators, I've always worn them since I was young’.
If you could choose any football match in the world to go and watch, which would you choose and why?
DAN - ‘Has to be the World Cup final, there’s no bigger game in the world’.
How do you personally prepare for a game on match day? Or the evening before?
DAN - ’I usually like to watch the film goal 1 watching Santiago Munez’.
How long Have you been at Thame United? What position(s) have you played for us?
DAN - ‘I’ve been at Thame now for 8 years, Iv played up front center midfield, I had a cameo in goal away at Cheltenham once and let the ball through my legs in the first 5 mins, that didn’t go down well’.
What other Clubs have you played for? Who has been the toughest defender you have ever played against?
DAN - ‘I have played at Reading, Oxford United, the toughest defender has to be Jake Wright when I was at Oxford’.
Do you support a team? Do you have an all time favourite player and why?
DAN - ‘I'm not a massive football fan but Man United. My favourite player has to be Santiago Munez as mentioned earlier’.
What for you is the best thing about Thame United?
DAN - ‘Has to be the facilities’.
What are your personal goals for the rest of the season?
DAN - ‘Just to try score more goals and get us into the play offs’.
