After dealing with a counter attack from East Oxford, goal keeper Pip Holman took control of the ball and played out to Sarah Winfield on the left hand side of the pitch, who played a precise ball forward to Amelia Newman, who took the ball under control and turned her marker to run on through to goal, slotting a low shot past the keeper.

Thame proceeded to receive a corner kick from another long ball that was played, with skipper Amy Cowen narrowly heading the ball over the crossbar, taken by Emily Holmes.

New signing Jess Mitchell showed her worth through some great battling in the middle of the park, to then whip a ball through the middle for Jay Jay White to run onto.

As the game played on, East Oxford started to find their footing into the game.
