Thame United get involved in Mental Health Awareness Week

Get involved and have fun...

This Friday, Thame United will be hosting 'Football for a Pound' to encourage children between the ages of 6 and 16 to get involved in organised football on the new 3G pitch.

Junior Section Head Coach Craig Faulconbridge, who works heavily within this sector, will be running the session this Friday and believes it is an amazing way to get more children enjoying the fantastic new facility at Thame.

"It's great we have this facility as it opens up amazing opportunities to host more football for the children in Thame and the local areas and villages.
Football for me has been the lifeblood of my life, it has created so much positivity and happiness, I just want to pass this on to as many children as I can."

Fridays session will hopefully mark the beginning of regular, affordable football for more children in the local area..

To get involved simply turn up this Friday at 4:30pm, bring a £1 and get involved.
(Please ensure you wear moulded football boots, wear shin pads, bring a water bottle and lots of ENERGY......)
