Silent Support Weekend is back. We’re asking all spectators to join us in giving all our young players a great way to find their voice, make their own decisions and enjoy their game across all our matches this 14-15 March.
Keep it positive. Enjoy the game!
This season, Silent Support Weekend is all about positive support. Quiet encouragement and applause for good play are welcome. But everything else can have the weekend off. During Silent Support Weekend, let’s all respect our players by giving them a space where they can all enjoy the game
For players…
They’ll be doing all the talking. This is an opportunity for them to find their voice and explore their game, without any distractions.
For coaches…
When the game is in play, coaches can either join in the silent support, or talk to the players
For parents/spectators…
We’re asking anyone on the sidelines to show your support with applause or cheering only (no coaching instructions).

We hope your club and teams will join us in supporting this initiative and remember that in the end it is about everyone, players in particular, having fun and developing.
