This Saturday we are on our travels as we make the trip to Stotfold in the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One. This is the return match after the two sides met at The ASM Stadium in February in what turned out to be a very entertaining game for the neutral, with Stotfold taking a 4 - 0 lead in the first half only for Thame to fight back scoring two goals in the final two minutes of the game to draw 4 - 4. Last season Thame did the double over our visitors winning 2 - 1 at the ASM Stadium then 2- 0 away in Stotfold. It’s been a difficult season for our latest opponents, after a credible first season at step four last season finishing seventh in the table. Stotfolds form over the past few matches has improved and they have pulled themselves away from the relegation zone, currently sitting seventh in the form guide and have won their last three matches. Mean while Thame are sitting in sixth place in the table outside the play off spots on goal difference but with two games in hand. Last time out Stotfold had a good 2 - 0 away win at Welwyn Garden City, while Thame beat Beaconsfield 3 - 2 and the ASM Stadium
