Thame United Football Club is delighted to announce that First Team Manager Ben Williams will expand his responsibilities to encompass the role of Head of Coaching & Development.
With more than 35 years of coaching and management experience, Ben brings an exceptional depth of knowledge to this combined position.

Throughout his career Ben has worked in academies, development centres and education settings, developing players across a range of high-performance environments. He was also an FA Coach Educator for many years, supporting and developing coaches and helping to raise coaching standards across the game. He is a UEFA A Licence coach and also holds the FA Youth Award, reflecting his commitment to player development and coaching excellence.
In his expanded role, Ben will continue to lead the club as First Team Manager while also overseeing the club's coaching philosophy and the development of all Junior Premier League (JPL) teams.

His responsibilities will encompass creating a clear pathway for young players, supporting and mentoring coaches, and ensuring a consistent footballing philosophy is embedded throughout the club.

BEN WILLIAMS SAID:
