It’s a big match this Bank Holiday Monday when near neighbours Aylesbury United are the visitors to the ASM in the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One. Last season there were three meetings between the two teams twice in the league and in the Extra Preliminary round of the FA Cup, with Thame coming out on top on all three occasions without conceding a goal. Meanwhile Thame have gone onto gain ten points from a possible twelve with wins against Rayners Lane, Hadley a draw at home to Ware, then on Good Friday a good performance away at Northwood FC to secure a 3 - 0 win, this could have been a tricky match with Northwood needing a win to keep their hope of staying in the league alive. Thame stay in the play off places now six points ahead of Hertford one point behind Biggleswade Town and on the same points as Biggleswade FC, with four games to go. There will be a number of ex Thame players in the Aylesbury squad returning to the ASM this Monday including Rocko Tamplin, Fabian Garcia and Hayden Beadle.
