Thame United vs Beaconsfield Town Match Preview 1 November

Martin Pacetti31 Oct - 18:18

Beaconsfield Town visit The ASM Stadium this Saturday for the first of eight fixtures in November.

Thame United welcome Beaconsfield Town to The ASM Stadium this Saturday for another round in the Pitching In Southern League Division One. Last season there were three matches between the two sides, two in the league and an FA Cup preliminary round tie, with Thame coming out on top in all three games, Thame scored a very late winner at Beaconsfield in November through Curtis Brown in a feisty affair, with a number of yellow cards for both sides, while the return match in March saw Thame coming from two goals down at the ASM in the march fixture to win three goals to two. The Rams as Beaconsfield are referred too have made a steady start to the season, currently sitting one place and one point below Thame in the table in eleventh place and are proving hard to beat this season with only three defeats from their thirteen leagues games, but there was a surprise in their last outing loosing at home in midweek to Aylesbury Town.

Its been a successful week for Thame after travelling to Biggleswade Town on Saturday and coming away with a one nil win thanks to a Greg Hackett goal in a match where the margin of victory could have been a lot higher, then on Tuesday travelling to Flackwell Heath a team that we have not beaten before and in a hard fought match secured another away victory with Curtis Brown and Dan West on the score sheets. The win, puts the team top of the form guide in the last six matches with a very good October, winning six, drawing one and one defeat. Both teams have an eye for goal this season with Beaconsfield scoring twenty eight goals in all competitions with danger man Manu One Williams on target with seven of them, meanwhile Thame have score thirty goals with them being shared about with five players scoring four each.

Kick off at The ASM Stadium is 15:00
