This is a repeat of last seasons Oxfordhsire Cup Final with Thame retaining their 2022/23 title with a hard fought 3-2 victory over Kidlington at the Banbury Plant Hire Stadium, in a close match in which Kidlington took the lead Thame equalised with a goal from Louis Fountain. Kidlington went back in front in the second half, but late goals from Eitel Goueth from the spot and Harry Alexander saw Thame over the line. In this seasons competition both clubs have had one tie, Thame comfortably beatng Adderbury Park 9 - 1, While Kidlington went down to Woodcote Park, but were later awarded the tie, due to a rule infringement.
This tie was due to be played on the 15 January but unfortunately the fog closed in and by kick off time, you couldn’t see one touch line from the other so the referee called the game off.

The other quarter final ties saw Oxford United comfortably beat Banbury United 6 - 0 and Oxford City won 2 - 1 away at Canfield. In the remaining tie North Leigh pulled out of their match against Ardley United who progressed to the semi final against Oxford United. The winner of this tie will be at home to Oxford City in the semi final.
In the league this season Thame have come out on top, winning both games at the start of the season in August . Thame were comfortable 5 - 0 winners at The ASM Stadium. Then last month Thame went to Yarnton Road and won 2 - 0 with goals from Tom McElroy and Ty Deacon.
