Thame United are back at home this weekend after three away games in the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One, as Leverstock Green are the visitors to The ASM Stadium. This weekend will be only the third time the two teams have met. after being promoted to step four last season, Thame secured both home and away victories, in December it was a comfortable 4 - 0 home victory then a closer match in April saw Thame winning 1 - 0 in Hertfordshire. This season the two teams met in August with Leverstock coming from 1 - 0 down to secure a 2 - 1 victory thanks to a 97 minute winner from the penalty spot, this rounded off a poor August for the Thame, where they were sitting in the relegation zone, with Leverstock having a good start to the season sitting in tenth place. There were then very good away victories at Biggleswade on their 3G pitch then on a very heavy pitch on Saturday battling to a 2 - 1 victory over Marlow. With a goal on Saturday Harry Alexander moves to the top of the Thame goalscoring table on nine goals, one ahead of Louis Walsh. While Leverstock’s danger man is Jeffery Sekyere with sixteen goals so far this season, half of the team's total goals.
