After a successful campaign in the 2023 / 2024 season in the Thames Valley League Division Three North, finishing in second place, Thame United Women have gained promotion and will play in Division Two of the Thames Valley League.

The league will consist of 9 teams

First up for the team this season is an away trip to face Didcot Town, with a 2pm kick off at the NPOWER LOOP MEADOW STADIUM

The women’s team will also be competing in the Oxfordshire county cup where they made it to the semi finals last season being knocked out by Oxford United Women. They will face North Leigh Ladies at home with the fixture taking place Sunday 20th October

They will also be competing in the league cup which they narrowly missed out on winning after falling short in the final losing to Easington Sport Ladies on penalties. Draws for these competitions are yet to b

It’s been a very busy pre season for the women’s team building on their solid structure with 6 new signings coming in.

We would like to welcome Leila Alexandra, Ashleigh Poolan, Emma Potts, Chloe Simmonds, Alice Watson to the club. Plus we have Emily Wheller returning back to the red kites from QPR.

The women’s team have also strengthen their back room staff welcoming Matthew Cookson as goalkeeper coach as well as Alex Turton who comes in as strength and conditioning coach.
