The former England and Arsenal defender met up with clubs and players before hosting a coaching session at the event at Meadow View Park which also featured a question and answer session and a mini girl’s tournament.

During the day, Martin also took time to recognise the achievements of the Oxfordshire FA’s Charter Standard clubs of the year, presenting FA Community Award Winners; Thame Football Partnership, Watlington Town FC and Chalgrove Cavaliers FC with kit packs donated by McDonald’s.

Charter Standard is a kite mark from The FA and is something that all clubs should aspire to with the aim of providing a safe, fun environment for football with quality coaching and is sustainable.
