Thame Academy will hold the first of their 4 academy trials this coming Half Term. The trials are a chance for students who are currently in year 11, 12 or 13 to come down, take part in a training session and to look round the impressive facility where the Education and Training is held.

Potential candidates can come down and take part in the sessions who have a vested interest in Sport, in particular Football, and would like to combine both Education and playing in one programme.

This is not only open to football enthusiasts, as we have various pathways that can cater for all who are, or could be potentially interested in a career in Sport.

Pathway 1:

Level 2 and 3 VRQ Diplomas in Sport
Level 3 BTEC in Sport

For those who are looking at careers in teaching and coaching, we have Pathway 2:

Level 2 Apprenticeship in Activity Leadership
Level 3 Apprenticeship in Sport Development

Pathway 3:

Level 3 apprenticeship in Sporting Excellence
This is for footballing excellence, this pathway is for those who excel in Football and are looking at this as a possible career. This is only available to learners who impress both on and off the field and show potential to progress professionally.
