Tuesday 19 March

Thame United Veterans were in the final of the Patrick O'Flanagan Memorial Veterans Cup against Clanfield Vets, the game being played at The ASM Stadium. Thame took the lead in the first half but two goals from Nicolas Higgs saw Clanfiled retake the lead only for Thame to equalise in the dying minutes of the match to send the tie into penalties. However it was Clanfield who held their nerve in the shootout winning 4 - 2 and lifting the cup.

Thame United A suffered a home defeat to Headington Amateurs in the UHL Division Two Central, going down by s single goal.

Wednesday 20 March

Thame United first team, were in action in the Semi Final of the Oxfordshire Senior Cup, when they took on Oxford City at North Leigh, This is a repeat of last years final where Thame came out on top to lift the Senior Cup. City had put out a strong side with several first team players in the starting line. Thame adapted themselves well against the National League side and held their own, with the scores level at half time. In the second half City took the lead on 70 minutes a low drive from the edge of the box finding the back of the net. Thame equalised on 78 minutes with Jayden Carbons free kick beating the keeper at the near post. It got better for Thame on 88 minutes when Ethan Lack shot from 25 yards looped over the keeper and into the net. Thame held out to reach the final for the second successive season, where they will meet Kidlington on the 23 April at Banbury United.

Saturday 23 March

Thame United first team travelled to Bedfordshire to play Biggleswade Town in the Pitching In Southern League Central Division One, After a battling performance Thame came away with a deserved 0 - 2 win, goals from Harry Alexander and Eitel Goueth and Archie Davis helping with a great penalty save to secure the three points

Thame United Reserves were in cup action when they took on Brill United in the President’s Cup Quarter Final, in a close match Thame went down by 3 - 2 and bow out of the Presidents Cup.

In the Aylesbury and District League Division Two, Thame United B missed the chance to close the gap at the top of the table as Aylesbury Royals Firsts came away from Meadow View Park with 3 - 2 victory, thames goals came from Mathew Johnston and Joe Raycraft.

Sunday 24 March

Thame United Over 50s were in Semi Final action in the Oxfordshire Over 50s Challenge Cup where they took on Division two side Headington Butchers at Meadow View Par, and came away with a comfortable 5 - 1 victory. The result means that Thame will now take on Chinnor in the final at Meadow View Park on the 28/04/2024.

Thame United Ladies were back in league action after their semi final victory as they travelled to play Milton Keynes City Women, in their penultimate game of the season. With Thame coming away with a well deserve 1 - 4 victory with Shona Reid Evans scoring all 4 goals. The wins mean Thame will finish in second place in the Thames Valley Counties Division Two North.

both teams are on 22 points with Thame in second place on goal difference, with four games to play this is a vital game in securing a second place finish behind Easington Sports who will almost certainly finish top of the division. Kick off is 14.00 at Derwant Drive Playing Fields MK3 7BE.

This weeks Action

Tuesday 26 March

Thame United first team have an away trip to Bedfordshire to take on Bedford Town in the Southern League Central Division one rearranged match, after their win agains Biggleswade Fc at the weekend at the same Stadium, Thame will be hoping for a good result agains the leagues second placed team.

Thame United A travel to the Power Loop Stadium to play Didcot Town Development, in the UHL Central Division Two, Didcot sit two places and two points behind Thame in the table kick of is 19.45 ox117GA

Wednesday 27 March

Thame United Reserves are in home league action in the Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division where Adderbury Park are the visitors to Meadow View Park, Adderbury currently sitting in forth place in the table while Thame are still fight to get out of the relegation zone.

Saturday 30 March

Thame United first are back at home to face Ware in the Pitching In Southern League Division one tie. Ware currently sitting in the play of places, earlier in the season the two sides share 8 goals in a 4 - 4 draw. Lick off at The ASM Stadium is 15.00

Thame United A are at home to Highworth Town Reserve in the UHL Central Division Two. Highworth sit one place and one point below Thame in the table. kick off at Meadow View Park is 15.00

Thame United B are in cup action in the Aylesbury and District Sheffield Jackman Cup with a home semi final match against Potten End first who play in the same division as Thame, kick off is 14.00 at meadow view park. In Division two Thame United C are away to Wendover Reserves, three points separate the two teams in the table with Thame in fifth place and Wendover sixth. kick off is 14.30 at John Collet School HP226HF.

Sunday 31 March

Thame United Over 50's are back in league action with an away trip to Hazelwood Sports Athletic, kick off is 13.45 at Cresses Football Centre HP124QA
